HI!!! my name is sidney! you can also call me sid or my full name, Sidney Citrus. I am 20 years old (b. september 15, 2006) and I live in california. I am a college student who's majoring in studio art with a focus in new media 2D animation. I made this website primarily as a way to share my artwork. I won't get into my whole opinion on social media here, but I've noticed that there's not a lot of dedicated art-sharing platforms anymore. the popular ones have become enshittified (DeviantArt... 💔) and i just can't be sure if the better indie ones out there will withstand the test of time; file hosting gets expensive! I want my best work to hosted somewhere that I have full creative control over, where I can ensure its longevity. this site won't be going away anytime soon! my goal for this website is to push myself out of my comfort zone, not only with HTML/CSS in general, but also through experimentation with different art media. a big goal for my site right now is to make a riggable 3D web-assistant character in blender! they'll serve as a web assistant for my site :)
